Influenza Update - June 15, 2009

H1N1 Influenza A continues to circulate widely in North America and Europe.  Fortunately most cases have been relatively mild.  The World Health Organization has upgraded this influenza to pandemic status, mainly because of how widespread the disease is and not because of its severity.

To prevent illness from circulating within the office, we ask all patients to use the handwash near the front door each time you enter the office.  People with fever and cough are asked to put on a mask, again located by the front door.
